(Bold) Espresso Virgin Hill is a full bodied espresso with a sweet after taste. Excellent for making cappuccinos or a simple espresso. Full bodied, low acidity and a strong aroma. Intensity of 8/8. Certified organic by Ecocert Canada.
* This coffee is not recommended for automatic espresso machines as it is a french roast, which means the beans' oils will be brought to the surface of the coffee beans.

 

THE COFFEE: Virgin Hill Coffee's Organic Espresso Virgin Hill is a smoky espresso made from a blend of Costa Rica and Guatemala's highest grade of coffee. 

THE ROAST: Roasted in small batches in the Eastern Townships of Québec, our organic 100% Arabica coffee is an extra dark roast. This coffee is rated as a 8 out of 8 on our intensity scale. It is considered an extra bold french roast. For a lighter roast check out our Organic Espresso L'Roma.

THE TASTE: This is a smoky espresso with notes of roasted almond and blackcurrant. Perfect for a coffee-lover who likes a little punch to their coffee. Best served as an espressso or as a base for lattes, cappuccinos, flat whites or cortados.

PREPARATION: Best suited for espresso machines and stove top espresso makers.
