We’ll Be at the Walk to Fight All Cancers in Knowlton
On October 4, we’ll be bringing the Virgin Hill Airstream to Knowlton for the Walk to Fight All Cancers, where we’ll be serving free beverages to participants.
There are Walk to Fight All Cancers events happening in communities across Quebec, and we always take part in the Knowlton walk because it’s right here in our community. It’s a cause that means a lot to the people in this area, and we’re happy to be there again this year.
Come See Us at the Airstream
The 25th annual Walk to Fight All Cancers takes place on Sunday, October 4, 2026, at the Lac-Brome Community Centre in Knowlton. The 5 km walk starts at 9:30 a.m., with registration and donation drop-off beginning at 8 a.m. There is also a 1.5 km walk for people with reduced mobility, along with family activities and a gentle yoga session.
We’ll have the Virgin Hill Airstream on site with free beverages for participants, so come find us before or after your walk. We’ll be happy to see you and pour you something to enjoy while you’re there.
Supporting Cancer Care Close to Home
The Walk to Fight All Cancers raises funds to support specialized healthcare in Brome-Missisquoi. This year, the money raised will help the BMP Foundation purchase specialized medical equipment for the operating room, emergency department, and outpatient surgery clinic, with the goal of improving cancer detection, diagnosis, and treatment.
The walk has raised more than $1.6 million since it began, and last year’s fundraising helped fund a new mammography unit that is now in service in our region.
We’re proud to support an event that brings our community together and helps improve access to cancer care close to home.
