Have You Seen Our Airstream Café?

We are often asked where people can see our operations, or if there is a Virgin Hill café they can visit. For a long time, we debated whether we needed a permanent brick-and-mortar space. In the end, we took a different route. That is how the Airstream Café was born, bringing our coffee directly to the public instead of waiting for them to come to us.

You will now find us at events throughout the year, serving freshly roasted coffee and sharing what we do best. Keep an eye on our Facebook page for upcoming dates and locations.

How it all started

About a year ago, we started looking for an Airstream. After a long search, we finally found the right one in Toronto. It was stripped down and missing most of its parts, but it had potential. Matthew and Martin made the drive, picked it up on the spot, and hauled it back to our roastery in the Eastern Townships.

Once it arrived, reality set in. We had to figure out what we were actually going to do with it. That question led to finding a contractor, sketching out ideas, and slowly bringing it back to life as a travelling café. After about five months of work, the Airstream Café was ready for its first outing, launching at the Hoot at Owl’s Head.

Inside the café

Inside, you will find everything you would expect from a small café. There are fridges, counters, sinks, and a very good-looking espresso machine at the centre of it all.

We also built a small seating nook with a live edge table and a custom banquette made by our team.

Outside, you will find a few Adirondack chairs for anyone who prefers to sit back, relax, and enjoy a coffee while taking in the polished exterior of the Airstream.

Atelier de Café Virgin Hill (opened 2025)

In 2025, we also opened the Atelier de Café Virgin Hill in North Hatley. This space was created as a working extension of our roastery, where visitors can experience our coffee in a more intimate and hands-on way.

The Atelier blends café culture with craftsmanship. It is a place where coffee is not only served but also explored, from roasting philosophy to brewing methods, all in the same spirit of simplicity and quality that has always guided us.

While the Airstream Café brings our coffee to events and communities, the Atelier gives people a home base to connect with us, discover new coffees, and experience Virgin Hill in a more permanent way.

Bringing coffee to you

We are genuinely excited about this project. The Airstream Café gives us a way to share Virgin Hill Coffee beyond our roastery and connect with people in a more direct and personal way. Our hope is simple: to spread a bit of Virgin Hill coffee happiness wherever it goes.
