Virgin Hill Coffee began humbly, in a little garage on Virgin Hill Road in North Hatley, Qc. What started as a family project quickly grew, but when a fire destroyed the roastery in 2008, it could have been the end. Instead, it became a new beginning. The team rebuilt, found an old 1959 Petroncini roaster in the Swiss Alps, brought it back to life, and carried on roasting with even more passion than before.

Twenty years later, Virgin Hill is still family-owned and deeply rooted in its community. Every bag reflects the values that have carried us from the very start: customer service, community, and a love of sharing good coffee. Just as important, giving back has always been part of who we are. From supporting local literacy programs to helping children’s foundations, every roast is also a way to give back to the people around us.

Whether you are discovering us for the first time or have been part of our story for years, our goal is the same. We want to keep coffee simple, delicious, and connected to the people who enjoy it.
