Introducing the Société Alzheimer Blend

At Virgin Hill Coffee, we believe coffee is at its best when it brings people together and supports something meaningful beyond the cup. That idea is what led us to create the Société Alzheimer Blend, in partnership with the Société Alzheimer Brome-Missisquoi et Haute-Yamaska.

This project started in a very natural way.

The owners of Virgin Hill Coffee were introduced to the organization through Louise Penny, who has done a lot of work supporting them. She connected them with the directors during her Three Pines launch, and from there, the conversation really just grew on its own. They reached out afterward to explore how we might work together, and it didn’t take long for us to say yes.

Alzheimer’s is one of those causes that touches almost everyone in some way. Whether it’s a family member, a friend, or someone in the community, most of us have seen firsthand how deeply it affects people’s lives. That’s what made this partnership feel important from the beginning.

The Société Alzheimer does essential work in our region, offering support services, education, and programs for individuals living with Alzheimer’s and for the caregivers who support them every day. The impact of that support is real, and often deeply personal for the families involved.

From our side, we wanted to create something simple but meaningful—something that could turn a daily ritual into a small way of giving back.

Since launching the blend, the response has been incredibly encouraging. Thanks to the support of our customers, we’ve already raised more than $1,000 in the first month, and we’re truly grateful for every single purchase that helped get us there.

The coffee itself is approachable and easy to enjoy, made to be part of everyday routines. But what matters most is what it supports. Each bag represents a contribution toward helping local families access the care and resources they need.
